Ämne: Isolated exhaust ventilation

I live in a villa built in 2006 and we have a Nibe 310P. We are thinking of changing to F730, but not sure if we have insulated exhaust ventilation - the plans say we do but I am not sure if it is so in the walls and at the pump. I have a visual confirmation in the cat vind, however.

Here is higher resolution picture of the plan, i have seen that some plans contain the word the whole way up, which our doesn't which also make me suspicious.

You need at least a PE30 (30 mm insulating) insulating sock for the Nibe 730 .

Thanks for your answer, I went up in the attic now and it is just aluminum foil around it, no insulation, so it must be done.

I read about armaflex also, would that be easier to use, than the one you linked?

Should I measure the pipe width or will it be 160mm that you linked me to?

Perhaps someone has a guide on how to terminate in the roof and at the heatpump?

Armaflex is condensation safe, but expensive. Hard to tell if you have 160mm or 125mm vent pipes.
There is insulation for both variants.

Thanks, I will measure to be sure - I also see that I have a sound muffler/silence above the hallway, i suppose it is larger than the rest of the ventilation pipe. How do you insulate that?

Sound muffler on the exhaust air  strange .
The plastic around the insulation must be 100% airtight .
