Ämne: S1156 uptime and best practises

Hi,

S1156, Ireland, typical outside temp +5C, had some weeks at -1C in early January. House built 2009, size 350msq. Underfloor on 2 floors.

Recent settings I see it modulates down to low energy but rarely turns off. I understand low and slow is good. Stop start is bad. But should there be more hours of stop and rest?

The demand increases at 3am for hot water session, and then i charge home. In Ireland night rate electricity is 13cent/kw and day rate 25cents, so try to work hard at night.

House temp is good. It can struggle below zero. Machine is S1156, ignore chart title.

It is a frequency-controlled compressor and is should not stop during winter period.

I would schedule the indoor temperature.
In menu 6.2 you can set the curve offset if you don't have a room sensor, or set up the setpoint for the room sensor.
Just turn it up during the 13 cent period and down the rest of the day.
Make sure that as many of the thermostats is fully open as possible so they don't cut of the temperature rise during night.
