Ämne: Kommunikation med ComfortZone EX-serien

Hej

Finns det någon som vet vilket protokoll ComfortZone använder sig av för att kommunicera med EX serien? Alternativ, finns det något annat gränssnitt som RS232 eller modbus på styrkortet? Jag bygger ett hus med KNX styrsystem och skulle vilja binda in värmepumpen. Det känns avigt att ha ännu ett system som kommunicerar via nätverk/internet med VP:n.

Den gamla som jag har, CE50, har ett rs232. Om dom tog bort det i EX vet jag inte. Bäst du kollar med Comfortzone. Tror dessutom att det sitter en annan styrdator i EX än i CE modellerna men bäst att fråga källan. Om det visar sig att det finns ett RS232 och du vill veta hur jag gjort så kan du pm:a mig så tar vi det därifrån

Det finns inget synligt på styrkortet men vi misstänker kontakt X2. När jag ringde Comfortzone blev det bara tyst när jag frågade efter en seriell port eller Modbus protokoll. Lite irriterande när man köper en dyr produkt och får inte tillgång till den utan att köpa en låda från Loggamera för 4000kr plus abonnemang på 700kr/år.

Jag återkommer om det visar sig vara RS232.

Jag har för mig att, om jag minns rätt utan att öppna upp fronten på skåpet, att i min satt en 9-polig d-sub kontakt och att jag kopplade kabeln via ett noll-modem till en rs232-till-usb och sedan till en raspberry pi

Fick en ny offert från loggamera, 4000kr för kommunikationsboxen och 1500kr/år (!) för Modbus/TCP protokollet. Jag tackade nej med hänvisning att det var minst sagt oattraktivt. Jag antar att det är ett bra sätt att låsa in BRF:er i ett kontrakt och ta ordentligt betald för det.
I den här pumpen sitter inga d-sub kontakter, bara skruvkontakter och andra specialkontakter. Jag vet ungefär vilka det är men det blir väl ett större projekt att förstå kommunikationen.

Are there any news about communication by using RS232? Is there any option to operate the ComfortZone without using Loggamera?

For the EX models, it seems to be a modbus interface with (unknown) protocol. For the CE models, yes, there is a RS232 that works one-way, means logging works

I'm personally not sure but another user having the EX50 wrote so. Therefore I personally, owning a CE50 with RS232, have no experience in how the EX50 communicates, it is just mentioned it is using modbus but the protocol and where/how to connect is for me unknown. Maybe Loggamera can give you answers to your questions

Just curious ... Does anyone here have the mentioned GW above to an EX65L?
Looks like it's a Modbus to Ethernet converter. If so then can you sniff the traffic and hopefully decode the data to control and to pull out information of the heatpumo.

I have neither a CZ pump (will maybe buy one) or the modbus-adapter.
But the adapter looks really interresting. It is marked ”Comfortzone link” and as you mention seems to be just a CZ->ethernet modbus adapter.
The number of connections also seem to be the similar as the adapter in the Loggamer-kit (that looks to connect to the X2-connector on the pump).
So all is needed as you mention is to sniff the traffic or even better ask Comfortzone if they can share the modbus-specifications to use for the modbus-adapter.
One thing to notice is that the modbus-adapter is for the EXF/RXF-model and not the EX/RX-model. The F-models seems to be for larger houses/apartments.
