Hej,
Greetings from Finland. My Swedish is a bit limited, so I prefer to write in English rather than trying to use a translator.
I have Daikin Altherma ERLQ006CAV3 and EHVH08S26CB9W system, which is heating the water for underfloor heating. I have noticed that when the outdoor temperature goes below zero degrees, the outdoor unit starts to defrost every 25 minutes. This happends regardless of the outdoor unit condition. When the outdoor air is dry, the output from the defrost may be only a couple of drops of water. This behaviour seems ridiculous. I have found a couple of other discussions about this topic, but so far no success in fixing the assumed issue.
Attached is one temperature measurement from one of the refridgerant lines. You can see that defrost occurs precisely after 25 minutes of heating. At that time the outdoor temperature was -10 degrees.
Are any of you having similar experiences with Daikin air to water heat pump systems?
