Ämne: Noise from Panasonic All In One 16 kw

Hi

We have installed Panasonic model WHUX16FE8 a few month ago and have experienced a wired noise of 5-10 minutes duration, see links to the videos.

Panasonic will not do anything unless the noise come more often... but as we are not home 24 hours a day I have no idea how often it has been there. I have recorded this case but have not heard anymore.
But as it is a brand new installaiton I am of cause not happy with their service on this front.

Have any of you experienced simular?

Jag tycker det låter som om det skulle vara cirkulationspumpen som kaviterar eller kärvar på något sätt.
Det KAN uppstå om man har för lågt tryck i systemet som matar cirkulationspumpen, om det uppstår undertryck på sugsida cirkulationspump kan det bli sådär.

Har du kontrollerat trycket i kretsen?
Har du provat ändra varvtal på cirkulationspumpen?

Självklart skall installatören/återförsäljaren åtgärda problemet om det finns i den nyligen installerade anläggningen.

Hi,

The pressure in the system is around 2bar on the heating side... the pibes making the noise which is the one containing freon I dont know the pressure but assume it was installed and checked as part of their QC.
The company installing the system have inspected the system but couldn't find anything... and they have asked Panasonic for but they seems not to work more on the case unless we see and can prove more cases with the noise.

So my impression is not good of Panasonic.... actually I am very disappointed.
I have asked my contact in Panasonic to escalate the case as I was not satisfied with the resolution so far.

If in the "freon-side" of the heatpump, it should probably be the expansion valve that makes the noise.
I would think it would be a bad thing if it keeps on sounding like that from time to time, feels like it possible could harm the valve longterm.

I had a similar sound, but not as loud the first time my Panasonic 12kW wanted to deice.
I found that the valve for the Automatic air breather in the machine was closed and did not let the pressure out when reversing the compressor. I didn't understand why this had something to do with the compressor, but after loosening the breather everything worked OK.
