Good news for Micro$oft Window$ users .

I have spend today all day of programming in Window$. It mean - you can download test version of my software for Window$.

Remember - this is test version and also this is one day work. Test it and send me response if you will have any.

Program is compiled as standalone - I belive you will not need any installs.

All the script is only test )
If it works fine, it print only results, if there is any proglem, it print all debug info.

It look like noise insted of data.
Are you sure, that your interface working fine?
Are you sure, that cable from heatpump to interface is no longer than 20cm? (do not forget, that connector on PCB mean aprox 5cm)
I will add come pictures to FAQ section of my doc today, check if your interface is fine.

you can have long cable PC <--> interface, but cable interface <--> rego must be as short as possible.

the result is very promissing. Se attached pictures.
Now, what is next?
Make it run under Linux (I have the book "PERL in 24 Hours", but i believe it will take a while to adapt your script)
or is there a chance to continue on the "windows track"

Nicely made hirter!

I'm still having issues with interference although the cable is now less than 15cm. Can it be the flat cable (think IDE-connector cable) I use?

kolla att jorden på pin 5 (X1 Rego-kontakt) inte är kopplad ihop med övrig jord i interface boxen (matningsspänning + MAX232)
kolla även spänningen på pin 2 (MAX232), att den är +9V (eller mer)
och spänningen på pin 6 (MAX232) ska vara -9V (eller mer)
den korta flatkabel bör inte utgöra några problem

Hirter, jag har bara 2.5V ungefär på båda pinnarna. USB ger väl 5V, eller?

Jordbanan är helt separat för både MAX232, PC-interface in och optokopplare..

Nu får jag faktiskt inget resultat alls sen jag avbröt ledningsbanan mellan pc-interface och max232
