Hey! Sorry for English, still learning.

I’m hoping I can get some and advice for optimising my boiler system. I had the heatpump installed in July and it has been working well. I turned the boiler to manual mode to not use addition and only the heatpump ( which I assumed was cheaper) however at night, and sometimes during the day especially on colder days my heatpump is working super hard. And it’s very loud too and the neighbours across from us have made some comments.
I’m wondering is there a way to optimise how the heatpump works ? So ideally it’s slower or quieter? Maybe at certain times a day?
Likewise is it good for me to not use additional heating (electricity) at all - i’m wondering if it will work my heatpump too hard and will be bad for it’s lifespan?

By blocking the additional it will not affect the lifespan when it is heating your house. When it is making hot water it is actually something to discuss. Set the water temperature to not exceed your needs, then I would say that it is nothing to worry about.

About noise, make sure that ice is forming nice and even on the back, and it defrost totaly about once un hour.
To much ice will make it louder and less efficient - sign of an issue.
Try to restrict the power by compressor frequency limit. It will also limit the output power, which means you will need additional. But the neighbors must be happy whatever the cost is.
Hold the reverse arrow button 7 sec and you will get more settings to find. Menu 5 and so on.
I am not sure, but I don't think you can restrict noise by schedule. 

In rare cases physical noise shield is an option.
