Hi guys. I'm trying to read data from the service port of an IVT Greenline HT Plus E9 with a Rego 637 controller. To do this I'm using a USB to serial adapter RS232 between the Rego 637 and my Raspberry Pi (RPi), however I do not get any data out from the Rego using e.g. screen command. I can see that the USB-adapter is correctly connected to the RPi (/dev/ttyUSB0) using commands:dmesglsusbAs soon as I get some data at all from the Rego 637 I would like to use your Perl script ivt.pl available at:http://rago600.sourceforge.netI read on this Forum that the signals coming from the Rego via the service port are too weak and need to be amplified. Is that true? Moreover I found this schematic for such a suitable interface:http://rago600.sourceforge.net/ivt_serial.pdfAny hints? Could you please me out?
The drawing above seems much simpler to me than:http://rago600.sourceforge.net/ivt_serial.pdf
