Hi,
Sorry for English - its just because writing from Latvia. And this one is most powerful forum of Thermia heatpums.
I have Thermia Diplomat TWS for quite a long time, and just recently realized, that heatpump has built in command line for reaction on predefined time zones. Specifically - it could lower temperature in predefined time period (default setting - 3C) for different electricity cost zones.
According to local dealer of Thermia, this command line could be managed only by this sky-high technological wireless Thermia Online console.
As I do not have enough time during working day to use such super technology, I came to idea to built by myself simple clock-based time zone controller, which lowers temperature and saves me money respectively during night hours and working days.
However here I came to problem - I have no electrical scheme of Thermia Diplomat computer (as I understand it is super secret of producer) and respectively I do not know where to connect the controller and kind of controlling signal is secret as well.
Any ideas how to find right connectors and type of signal? Anybody has electrical scheme?
The solution should be super simple, as main computer supports such temperature management as from factory.

I do not know the details about Thermia but for most heat pumps it is possible to connect a room temperatur sensor which complements the out of door temperature sensor.
The room temperature sensor contains a NTC-resistor. By connecting a fixed resistor in parallell it is possible to "cheat" the control system, to make it appear that the room temperature is higher than is really is. If the resistor is connected and disconnected using the timer the room temperature will change accordingly. How to connect a room temperature sensor ought to be desribed in the manual.
One problem is that you have to make sure that the extra resistance heater is not triggered when the pump starts to heat up the house. If it is the savings will be gone.

I have an installation manual in Swedisch, it's quit simple.
If you shorts 307 and 308 you will stop all (EVU STOP).
If you use 10 kOhm resistance between 307 and 308 it vill turn on "ROOM LOWERING".

If 9.2 EVU is active and the heatpump is prevented from starting... do we know what happens with the integral. I assume it will be set to zero and remain there for the duration that EVU is active.
Wont this cause a lot of problems in terms of figuring out how much heat is needed to be generated in order to re-establish normal room temperature in the building?
I can only see a solution where an external heat-accumulating tank is used in combination with temporary lowering of room temperature (9.3 in the manual).

The integral is calculate also during EVU stop. It's a time limit which avoid electric heater to start even if the integral is below -660 direct after EVU stop. Is factory set at 30MIN. It's changable in service - add.heat Thumbsup

Ok that's slightly different than the manual which states:
EVU-funktionen förhindrar drift av VÄRMEPUMP, TILLSATS och CIRKULATIONSPUMP så länge kontakten är sluten. Texten EVU STOPP visas i displayen när funktionen är aktiv.
So no timer mentioned and the CP is shut down as well which I guess prevent accurate integral calculation.

The circulationpump for brine circuit is not running during EVU STOP but the circulationpump for heating is running as normal. Update your manual ;D

In that case the EVU function is great and easy to use!
Especially with the time delay on the electric heater post EVU :)
I wish the manual was as good as you Larm_HP 8)
